Saturday we went out to Atwood Lake where Ryan's grandparents live with Ryan's mom and dad and our niece Sophia. The kids loved being on the boat an played really well together. Preston loves the water and pointed at every boat as we drove by and waved. On our way back in both kids fell asleep. Preston was sitting on my lap watching all the boats off the side of the boat and laid his head down and fell asleep, hanging over the boat. Check out the pics.
After we got home from the lake we showered up and headed out to the festival for dinner and rode some rides before the fireworks. Preston got to ride the ponies and petted his the whole time. There were soooo many people out for the fireworks, so much so that we had to get our blanket down by 8 and wait around for the fireworks to start at 10. Once they started it was quite a show. Preston wasn't so sure about them at first but then really enjoyed them. It was a nice way to end our very eventful weekend!
