My little helper

Preston loves the sweeper. He squeels and screams everytime we turn it on. We've also discovered that he loves to push the broom. The other night Ryan was sweeping the living room and I was sweeping the kitchen and Preston decided he wanted to help as well. I wonder if he'll always want to help with the cleaning?? Doubt it!

We are heading out of town this weekend to spend the holiday with our family. They haven't seen Preston since his birthday and before he was walking. They are all very excited to see him on the move. We'll see how they feel after he's tornadoes through their houses like he does through ours. Does this look like the face of a tornado??

Ok, so as I posted earlier Preston's favorite toy right now is his plastic golf clubs. He has to have one in his hands at all times. Problem is he gets really discouraged when he can't work another toy because he is holding his club. For example this weekend he had all three golf clubs in his hands and also wanted in his toy firetruck. He got so upset because he couldn't get into his fire truck while holding his clubs. I had to try to explain to him that he would have to give up one to play with the other, and I'm sure you know how much he understood what I was saying. Here are some pics of Preston and his clubs. We call him Tiger now.

Chase

Well the little man is no longer walking its now turned into him running around everywhere. I knew that as soon as he figured out walking he would quickly figure out how to get where he wanted to go much faster. He absolutely loves being chased and gets giggling so hard that he has a hard time keeping his balance. See the video below.

ONE!

I've been wanting to post for a while about what Preston is up to and haven't got a chance to since his birthday. Here is a summary of Preston at one year old.

~Preston is a happy boy always smiling and always laughing

~Loves to eat, his favorites are oranges, carrots, toasted cheese, bananas, beans, and pancakes

~His favorite snacks are the Earth's Best Honey Grahm Sticks with Elmo on the box and the Crunchy Cheddar Crackers with Big Bird on the front.

~Always shaking his head yes or no.

~If you ask him if he's a good boy he ALWAYS shakes his head yes.

~Weighs 24.5 llbs and is 31.5 inches tall. 75th percentile in weight and 95th for height (he must have got this from his parents).

~Loves the cordless phone, remote controls, and our cell phones.

~Claps at everything and loves to dance (which is him shaking back and forth).

~Just got his 7th and 8th teeth

~Favorite toy right now is his golf clubs and his bouncing zebra.

~Walking like a pro, well actually pretty much running now. Oh and running into everything!

~Starting to say several words and will repeat any word you say. He says mama and dada, yeah and no, nana (banana), cookie (mostly for Cookie Monster), ball, book, Oh, and bye.

~If you ask him where his belly is he pats on his lower chest.

~Absolutely loves books. He is facinated by them and sits and looks at them for long periods of time. He likes to hold them himself though and doesn't like it when we hold them and turn the pages.

~Loves his new sitter and her son Thomas. He gets very excited when he sees him in the morning.

~Gave up his bottle the day after his birthday with no problem and has done great without it. He loves milk and drinks it with all of his meals.

~He is such a cuddler now. He never was when he was a baby and I am so happy this has changed. He will hug me and lay his head on my shoulder and then pat me on the back and say "ahhhhh", I melt everytime and absolutely love it.

~Gives kisses and hugs to anyone who asks

~If you say give me a kiss, he will stick his fish lips out and smack his lips. It is hilarious.

~He waves but its backwards like he is motioning you to come here.

~He can now open the chest we have in the living room with all his toys in it. I have his diapers in there as well and if I ask him for a diaper and will go over and get one for me.

~Loves his stuffed animals and tackle hugs them.
